Contrary to what some big box craft store employees would have you believe, cross stitch is far from a dying art. Just one look at a few Facebook groups and Reddit threads devoted to the subject and it's obvious that it's growing in popularity.

Besides providing vintage art cross stitch patterns, we thought it might be nice to feature some of our favorite resources for accessories. This first product roundup showcases 4 of our contest vendors who've proven repeatedly to have not only quality items but also excellent customer service.

  1. GaRon Totten Bags ~ Gary and Ron create one-of-kind handmade project bags and matching grime guards. Fun fabrics make this a go-to resource for us.
  2. Lakeside Needlecraft ~ Kate's family-owned business is well-known world-wide for their wide variety of needlework supplies. They were awarded the 2018 Stitch Retailer of the Year by the British Craft Awards, so they must be doing something right!
  3. Stitching Buddy Plus ~ Charlene has come up with unique products for stitchers, including ingenious thread storage boxes and decorative pin counters. You'll find items you didn't know you needed but can't live without!
  4. The Easy Guide Needle ~ Mila has turned a tiny shop of only 3 items into a powerhouse supply for dedicated stitchers who expect the best in needles. They are the only ones we use.

Next time you're in the market for cross stitch accessories, be sure to check out our recommended suppliers! And don't forget about our website for your all your pattern needs. :)

Happy Stitching!
