Hey y'all!

This past week we had a lovely discussion in our Facebook group about how as crafters, we seem to have an appreciation for all things old. Many of us enjoy browsing antique shops, old bookstores, flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores and the like. We love the history of the items, and the tactile feel of something that's endured for generations. And more than one person said they felt as if they'd been born in the wrong era, identifying with vintage more than modern.

With that in mind, I've decided to revamp our Pinterest account (which is sadly pitiful at the moment) with more than 100 boards of vintage-themed topics. Hubby has offered to maintain it (he needs to be careful what he volunteers for!) and when it's dressed up and ready to debut, I'll be sharing it all over the place.

In other news, we've decided to release 2 patterns per week so as not to be overworked. When we first opened a little over a year ago, we were trying to keep up the ridiculous pace of a new pattern every weekday. That got old really fast and we wore ourselves to a frazzle. If we somehow magically wind up releasing more than that each week, all the better, but 2 will be our goal for now. Eventually we hope to have 500 patterns on our website so we should get there in another 4 years or so. :)

This week's newest releases include "Santa's Little Helper" and "Vibrant Bouquets".

Until next time, happy stitching! xx
